Kakapo Dance

Author(s): Helen Taylor

NZ Picture Books

All the birds in the bush are singing and dancing. But not Kakapo. Kakapo can't hop and chime like Bellbird or coo and glide like Kereru and he certainly can't bop and twirl like fantail. But when all the other birds are having so much fun Kakapo can't help joining in. He just has his own way of dancing. He can thud and ching, and tumble and shuffle and boom, boom BOOOM BOOM BOOOOOM!!! Kakapo Dance is a stunning picture book from award-winning writer and illustrator Helen Taylor for children aged up to 7 years. A wonderful play of sound and movement, this will be hugely fun for parents to read aloud to young children.
